What is that?!

Expression challenge:  Scared Norway

I got the suggestion from 

I wanted to create simpler impression,
so I lessen colors gradation for his hair & went with strikingly darker color.
I also experimenting with lighter colors for his skin.
I did it to give him paler impression, thus intensifying his scared expression.
I'm satisfied with how they turned out
